Note - present reports have indicated that Colorado's governor Owen has declared anything sounding threatening like the NCA site is illegal in Colorado. We do not have citations regarding the matter, but this might indicate why the TRT in Colorado is so quiet.
"Right now, the TRT in Denver is INACTIVE. I'm not seeing them involved in anything and I suspect I know why.
First, their traditional approach has been street theater. This has done nothing to impress the public because the media coverage is always biased and TRT is always portrayed as "a handful" of people. I remember one rally where they use a roll of tickets to get a count of the participants. There were 478 or so people in attendance, but the media made us out to be "a dozen or two". So, the only people who knew of our numbers were the Million Commie Mommies and the Denver Gestapo. That means the street theater approach only exposed US and had little effect - except to play into the hands of the Marxist leadership here in the PDRD who painted us as a handful of "kooks" or "malcontents".
The last time I spoke with the TRT leadership, they were thinking about other approaches, some of them being like those used by the John Birch Society. Then, I also believe they're on the same page with a lot of us in their realization that the pen is mightier than the sword - only when you're dealing with reasonable people. We've all come to realize that we ARE NOT dealing with reasonable people, that we need to deal with those people in a currency they use. It seems the TRT has faded away.
