SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS A HOAX
A few of the reasons we have a 2nd Amendment are: to remind us that we have the unalienable right to protect our First Amendment and all the others; ourselves in our properties; our selves from enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC ; and our faith from those who would take it with violence.
Most wars have been over religion. The destruction of the American
Republic (see Dieter Dahmen's essays on that matter) is a RELIGIOUS ATTACK. Those who profess athiesm, or who hate our majority Christian faith, and would destroy it through JUNK LAW, or VIOLENCE, are doing WAR with us, and their belief in athiesm is a RELIGIOUS FAITH, regardless of all the spittle-flecked diatribe to the contrary.
Here is our most recent statement on the matter. Not all of the folks who attend the NORTH CAUCUS are in agreement with this statement, but, just like the Founding Fathers who were similarly encumbered with zeals of various flavors, so are we!!! That has nothing to do with the creation of a Republic whose goal it was to protect all faiths, but whose very SURVIVAL depended upon people having faith, and the MORALITY and CIVILITY that went with it!!
You will notice below that there are spare "buttons." Those buttons are being saved for remarkable discussions anyone would want posted in this matter. They will be used for scholarly presentations, not various arguments about opinions. We all know that the discussion of religion and politics is fuel for quarrels, so this will not be a forum for any such quarrels. [CJJ]
"JUNK LAW and the 'Christian Nation'"
Our nation is being physically destroyed in its wildlands and
in the right to hold private property by legislation derived
from the most preposterous science one could dare to imagine.
That battlefield upon which blood is actually being let and lives destroyed, called "environmental activism," has aptly been
described by scholars as the application of "JUNK SCIENCE."
We were even "Gored" with "JUNK SCIENCE" by a recent presidential pretender who ignored reality to "prove" that automobiles
needed to be taken away from the public.
Meanwhile, over the last 225 years, the legal realm has
simultaneously been quietly inflicting us with steady barrages
of "JUNK LAW," the latest emanating from the 9th Circuit Building.
Peter Mancus made a very astute and immensely important comment
about the latest effort of the 9th Circuit toward eliminating
the 2nd Amendment:
"they squandered their credibility and good will, and they
manifested their sub-standard scholarship." (1)
I have been considering the matter of JUNK LAW, only in the realm
of so-called "National Religion." The latest output of the 9th
Circuit has presented me with a perfect example of JUNK LAW by way
of their "appeal" to "Ex-Justice" Burger's comments taken from that
noted scholastic resource journal "Parade Magazine." The "Justices" were flailing about for reference material to help justify their decision, and in the process, clutched at anectdotal material
there-in. They promptly gave "Parade-Burger," and junk scholarship
from a de-frocked scholar, a bath in "judicial integrity" (abuse)
and foisted it off as JUNK LAW.
This use of the Parade Magazine is not the first time the very
fabric of our nation was changed by less-than-scholarly
reference to secular material. The most profound, perhaps more so
than the "Burger-Parade" matter, was the egregious use of a single
phrase from a private letter penned by Thomas Jefferson as a
source of evidence to CREATE out whole fabric the "true meaning"
of the clause requiring the government avoid establishing or
supporting specific religions.
A little research in the matter, and I was able to discover that
this nation, whose citizens as a majority have chosen the Christian
Faith, was not intended to be a "Christian nation." The Founding Fathers, were not all Christians.
Washington blatantly displayed his feelings by attending "Church"
with his wife, but deliberately and pointedly (and, according to
the pastorate, "rudely") avoiding all participation in the physical
demonstrations of faith required by the churches they attended.
History notes, though, the mention of "Christian's" in Washington's
General Orders, particularly in reference to their character,
and character was the foundation upon which the Republic would
rest.
A number of the Founding Fathers were "Deists," professing a
Creator. Most of them knew, professed, and even demanded that the
warp and weft of a Republic depended upon a faith in a Superior
Being, that faith engendering, particularly, civility and morality, much less the blessings that would come from a Divine Overseer.
Federal Documents reveal that the nation was not begun as a
"Christian Nation." A treaty with Tripoli, negotiated in the
infancy of our national government: The English translation of
Article 11, Treaty with Tripoli, declared in part that
"the government of the United States is not in any sense founded
on the Christian religion..." (2)
Washington read it and approved it, although it was not ratified
by the Senate until John Adams become president. When Adams signed
it, he added this statement to his signature "Now, be it known, that
I, John Adams, President of the United States of America, having
seen and considered the said treaty, do, by and within the consent
of the Senate, accept, ratify and confirm the same, and every
clause and article thereof." (ibid.)
That treaty and the approval it received from our nation's
first and second presidents AND THE U. S. SENATE as constituted
in 1797, contradict any notion that the Nation was established
as a "Christian Nation," or that this nation should not admit
religions like Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, or, even the very natural religions of the Aboriginal world. This nation was established,
whether deliberately or by Divine Fiat, with protection for all
Occidental, Orientals, and Aborigionals, regardless of their
Faiths.
Let me emphasize that I am not denying that the majority of our
nation practices Christianity, nor am I beleaguering that fact. I am
only showing that the reason our Constitution was written the way it
was was TO INSURE THAT ALL FAITHS COULD BE ENJOYED IN THE BRIGHT
LIGHT OF FREEDOMS GUARANTEED BY BOTH THE CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF
RIGHTS!!
As we all know, the Christian "bent" of the nation, and the
declaration of such things as "Manifest Destiny," led to the
wholesale destruction of much of the Aboriginal world on this
continent. How quickly the nation morphed from it's first two
administrations!
As I said above, there came a time where you find at least
a few zealots escalating the practice the most infamous of
bigotry, the religious type. "Scholars," (JUNK LAWYERS, IF
YOU WILL), started waving that PRIVATE letter by Jefferson
and using a phrase "separation of Church and State" as a
hammer to shape their religious, and LATER, Statist/communist
goals. As luck would have it, the majority didn't care
because it seemed to be "protecting" their faith. As fate
would have it, it wasn't long before the German Rationalists, Communists, and other destroyers of all things good, found
the phrase to be a perfectly crafted tool for DESTROYING
THE CIVILITY AND MORALITY of this nation!!! They also used
it as a vehicle of prophecy: "A nation divided against itself
cannot stand."
I would assert that Jefferson would reword that thought had he known
what a disastrous effect it would create: where the religion of
atheism could effectively trample the majority religion of the
nation, Christianity, and bring down morality and civility in
the process.
I would assert at this point that one of the GREAT weaknesses of
the folk in this nation, folk of a number of religions whose faiths
rest upon various written texts, is the application of PROOF
TEXTING. This "lifting" of the words of Jefferson to establish
the foundation of a nation is an egregious form of "proof texting."
Unfortunately Americans are quite accustomed to the process. The
more recent products of our education system are even more
conveniently distracted from the truth in that they, knowing
nothing, question nothing. The forces of scholarly abuse have
done their jobs well. "Wahl, if it comes from a PHD, who am I to argue?"
Using the scholarly approach applied to the Jefferson letter or
the Burger-Parade statement as an example, I should be able to
prove that smoking existed in Old Testament times, un-rebuked by
Jehovah in any way in the Pentateuch or elsewhere, by the simple
application of scripture revealing that Rebekah "lighted off her
Camel." (3)
In an effort to verify the intent of at least some of the Founding
Fathers, lets examine their quotations:
We already have Washington and Adams on record. Now a few others:
Thomas Paine:
"I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by
the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by
the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of...Each of
those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part,
I disbelieve them all." (4)
Thomas Jefferson:
"I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature."
"It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods
or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
Did the Founding Fathers agree on the matter? NO!
Patrick Henry:
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this
great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians,
not on religions but on the gospel of Jesus Christ."
John Jay, first chief justice of the United States:
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers,
and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest, of
a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their
rulers."
Please note that this is the John Jay who kick-started the
UNDERMINING of the Constitution by opening the door to Sovereign
Immunity (5) in a decision in 1793, just 2 years after the Bill of
Rights came into force!!!
It is my belief, and that of several other North Caucus members,
that this nation was NOT founded as a "Christian Nation." The fact
that it tends to be one now is not "irrelevant" in that forces of
racism and bigotry are attempting to solve the problem of radical
Islamic terrorism by claiming this nation to be a "Christian Nation," "so the rest of you can just go home."
That attitude is reminiscent of the attitude of the Inquisition,
Witch Burnings, and, of course, the attitude of the very folks
we'd like to be rid of, the Islamic Fundamentalist Radicals. It
smacks of the most repugnant hypocrisy, as well as a social lunacy
that could suddenly find justification to send all Jews back to
"Israel," and get rid of our Aboriginal brethren just because
they worship nature (a process that was already once applied).
In times past, our "Supreme" Court has made preposterous
decisions, decisions that have deliberately created
unconstitutional law, even going to the extreme in one instance
of claiming their responsibility was to study the "penumbra" of
the Constitution. That is no more credible than a sermon I once
endured by a very forceful and brilliant biblical scholar, the
fabric and conclusion of which were justified in his opening
statement saying that we were going to study what the Bible
DID NOT say about a particular matter. That was truly one of
the most violent assaults on basic logic I have ever encountered,
though quite parallel with the recent machinations of the 9th
Circuit and their "parents," and "siblings." Yes, I chose to call
that sermon JUNK RELIGION for its abuse of the laws of logic.
If the 9th Circuit gets away with this latest application of
JUNK LAW, I would not be in the least surprised when we discover
"law clerks" and "law students" rifling through comic books,
pornography, The Writings of Mao, and TEA LEAVES for foundations
for more "Stare Decisis," the "lazy man's law," (6) in the ongoing
effort to DESTROY the Bill of Rights.
The NCA is a 2nd Amendment organization. We decry the matter of
the 9th Circuit decision because, again "JUNK LAW" is being
created with impunity, and used in the ongoing effort to destroy
ALL aspects of our original REPUBLIC. The
people do not seem to care. We assert that the progrom
we are enduring, outlined, would look like: "TAKE
THEIR PRIVACY, TAKE THEIR PROPERTY, AND DISARM THEM
SO THEY CAN NOT RESIST."
But, resist we shall, in many groups. We shall continue to
own our "assault rifles" in Kalifornia, our hand-guns in
New York, etc:

The tsunami is a physical force that
can not be seen as it crosses the Pacific depths, but when
it approaches shores, and the fixed land begins to apply
pressure, it rises majestically to spectacular heights,
quite willing to erase any obstacles in its path. The tsunami
represents the "RESISTANCE" which we have chosen to denote
with the symbol "OMEGA."

2) (Treaties and Other International Acts of the United
States. This treaty was negotiated by the American diplomat
Joel Barlow during the administration of George Washington.
s, ed. Hunter Miller, Vol. 2, U. S. Government Printing
Office, 1931, p. 365).
"Article 11. As the government of the United States
of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian
Religion,--as it has in itself no character of enmity
against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,
--and as the said States never have entered into any
war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation,
it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising
from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption
of the harmony existing between the two countries."
Though highly debated as to whether it actually existed in the
Arabic Treaty, the words above were the ones approved by the
Senate and Presidents. Washington always decried any use of
the statement to show that ours was an "atheist nation." He
objected to atheists using this quotation and called it "a
most flagrant misquotation for evil purposes."
