Many of you have used "Switchboard" for getting maps of people's homes and locations. The mapping is quite rapid, isn't it? Consider your constant use of the credit cards in your purse or wallet. It wouldn't take much time for a map to be created with an X next to a Chevron station, or a Store, along with 07:32:32 Local Time , would it. All they need to do is type in your social security number, and the system spits out a map. Your journey would be clear as a bell. Add to that the following credit "locators:"
So, how does one maintain invisibility in these matters? Think about it:
- Cash only - doesn't THIS add great emphasis on staving off the "cashless society?"
- If your card is distance tracked, sent it on little outings with a friend.
- If diversion is needed, send the card out on a number of pregnantly notable small errands in a direction that leads away from your location.
- Consider using the card to establish a definite position should questions arise about your whereabouts.
- Barter. I know a person who reloads, and has accumulated an abundance of materials for his shooting. Consider trades.
- Aluminum Foil - there is a chance that these devices could be blocked by the proper application of foil. See Foiled Again.
